New County Mayor in Telemark

Red&Green take over in Telemark County Council

The new mayor is Terje Riis Johansen - former Minister of Agriculture. He represents the Center Party and is supported by the Social Democrats and Socialist Left. This breaks many years of conservative dominans in Telemark County Council. Telemark is a significant partner in the IC network and has been actively involved in several projects together with partners in the North Sea Region and the Baltic Sea Region.

Christian Tynning Bjørnø (Social Democrats) will become Vice Mayor and Sigbjørn Molvik (Socialist Left) will chair the Transport Committee.
