Invited by the Vidzeme planning region participants from 12 different TiF-partner spent two days discussing “How to link regional scenarios and new narratives”.

Arnis Ozolins, Director of Naukseni's Museum of People, presented a Latvian success story. He showed how his little town, close to the border to Estonia, manages to attract tourists. One part are local products like different oils, soft drinks and cookies. Ozolins told the workshop participants about the secret effect of garlic oil after a hard night and other Naukseni products.

“We definitely do not end here”, so workshop moderator Andris Klepers after two days full of information, discussions, new ideas and new insights. “There are many ways to tell a story. What matters is what you want to tell and how you want to be recognized in the world”, continued Klepers. Alf Johansen, project coordinator for Indre Østfold Regional Council stated: „This was one of the workshops I learned the most.“
