Innovation Circle Network represented in Siauliai non-formal education conference

The 20th August representatives from the Innovation Circle Network participated in a conference about non-formal education in Siauliai city. All the attendants were introduced to the Network activities, projects and a long contribution to a lifelong learning. Especially the importance of international cooperation was emphasized. The IC team also used an opportunity to meet Siauliai City mayor Genadijus Mikšys and invite the city to become a part of the IC Network.

Non-formal education project was carried out by the Children and Youth Additional Education Centre where the IC Network was a partner. The project was meant for sharing experience among educational institutions in Lithuania and Norway. Project participants shared their views on what they have learned and discovered.

This is not a single project implemented in cooperation with institution in Siauliai City. There has already been other events in the past. Now, when the Network signed cooperation agreement with Children and Youth Additional Education Centre and initiated closer contacts with Siauliai City it is expected to get even more common projects in the future.
