The main idea of the Event is to organize a marathon, during which the participants will have to swim through the Curonian Lagoon in Lithuania. The Curonian marathon will bring up the topics of history of Curonians, their culture, traditions and uniqueness.

Every guest is invited to bring a stone from their place. The idea is to build a lighthouse from the stones, so people are encouraged to put their name and surname on the stones.

Project organizers also hope to fulfill research objectives. University of Klaipeda lecturers and students will participate in the discussions about Baltic Sea Region and Curonians. Researchers and anyone from academic field are welcome to join the Event.

Guests from foreign countries and Lithuania are welcome to provide their ideas and cooperate with the organizers. More information can be found in the attached file.
