Following the initiative started in 2010, INTERACT Point Turku, in close cooperation with Directorate General for Regional and Urban Policy of the European Commission, announced the 4th Working Meeting on the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region.

Discussions will be organised around five priorities focusing on specific issues relevant for all Member States of the macro-region, namely: environment, transport, energy, innovation and research, and education. Workshops held during the meeting will address specific questions on cooperation modes and mutual benefits within the common priorities.

Participants will be encouraged to exchange their views on embedding of the EUSBSR in the future programmes and funds and opportunities offered by the macro-regional strategy. Partnership Agreement coordinators, representatives in charge of preparing future European Structural and Investment Funds operational programmes, Managing Authorities, members of the programming committees, National Contact Points, Priority Area Coordinators and Horizontal Action Leaders of the EUSBSR as well as other interested stakeholders are kindly invited to the meeting.
