Transport Week 2013
Transport Week is a 3-day international event organized every year in Polish Baltic Philharmonic in Gdansk. The event gathers key representatives from transport market. This year’s edition of Transport Week will be fulfilled with conferences and discussion panels concerning LNG, container, intermodal and wind energy market.
Which ships are suitable for LNG fuel use? What are the efficiency and safety concerns? What is the likely future demand for LNG fuelled vessel new build? These issues – and many others – will be discussed by Claus Winter Graugaard – Deputy Head of Maritime Services from DNV – Det Norske Veritas during the LNG Conference on the first day of Transport Week.
Based on the latest facts and figures and recent trends in the container market Steve Wray, Senior Consultant representing Ocean Shipping Consutants will present a paper focused on perspectives of the global, European and regional container markets for the future. Wray will present terminal capacities versus market demand.
Starting on Tuesday, 5th March with LNG Conference the Transport Week 2013 will also offer participants to take part in the Baltic Container Conference 2013 on, Deregulation Panel and Stakeholders Platform on 6th of March. On the last day organizers invite you to visit the Intermodal Conference followed by the Offshore Wind Farms Panel. Transport Week 2013 is the event for all who are involved in transport issues in the broadest sense.
