BSR program approved by Commission
The Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007-2013 was approved by the European Commission on 21 December 2007. The Programme will support transnational projects with partners from at least three different countries. Following priorities will be supported: Fostering innovations, Internal and external accessibility, Baltic Sea as a common resource and Attractive and competitive cities and regions.

Decision about when the first call for project proposals is open will be taken at the first meeting of the Monitoring Committee which will take place in Rostock on 14-15 February 2008. Rostock is also the location for the Joint Secretariat. In addition there is a JS office in Riga. As a support to project idea owners the Joint Technical Secretariat will offer individual consultations for potential applicants at the Lead Applicant seminars that will take place shortly after the first call for project proposals is opened.
