Four seminars will be organized in the framework of the "Active citizenship for social policies" project, which is partly financed by the "Europe for Citizens Action" programme. The seminars deal with the formation of social politics issues. Furthermore topics like employment strategy integration with social policies; social work organization in local governments; supporting programmes and instruments of low income inhabitants and children/youth from disadvantaged families as well as foster family supportive programmes will be included in the seminars.
The different courses will take place in local governments of project partners in Latvia, Germany (Ubigau) and Italy (Bollate). In June one seminar will take place in Latvia in Amata municipality. It will be organized in cooperation with the Latvian Association of Local and Regional Governments.
