Final program 2014.pdf

Partiticipants will learn about various projects and programmes dealing with the development of the Baltic Sea Region/Northern Europe. One of the key note speakers Mr. Wiktor Sydarowski has been involved in the development of the BSR transport cluster. Other key note speakers will be representing the CBSS, Nordic and National intsitutions. From the Latvian Institute we will have a presentation from the Director Ms. Karina Petersone who will speak about Benchmarks of Latvia, the EU Presiding Country in 2015.

The IC network is a part of these initiatives aiming at better cooperation across borders within Northern Europe, from Russia to Scotland. We see that more partners are teaming up and joining the network. The annnual conference is also an arena to meet old and new partners for tomorrow`s projects and networking. The second day of the conference will be focusing on the network itself, sharing and learning of experiences and talk about new projects and initiatives. One of the speakers the second day will be Mr. Bjørn Frode Moen from Notodden Municipality who will present how focus on heritage can create a bridge to the future. Other partners will share their experiences and tell about the next steps at the project cafe sessions wher ewe organize a speakers corner. During the after conference program partners shall use the opportuinity to team up and talk, perhaps during the unformal town walk organized by some IC seniors.
