In golden, blue and green it marks the municipality’s people, its rivers and fields. Also it notes Jelgava’s future and growth as well as it promotes its identification. The implementation was realized within the framework of the Trans in Form project. The objective of this Baltic Sea Region Programme Project is to promote competiveness and sustainable development in rural territories by making them more attractive to live and work, thus reducing the population drain of these territories.

“This project is of great benefit to Jelgava Local Municipality, because very important documents have been elaborated – dendrological plan and landscape solutions for Eleja’s Manor park as well as development strategy of Jelgava Local Municipality”, said Liga Lonerte, Head of Development Department.
