An Energy Day is defined as a not-for-profit event, activity, project, exhibition or display that promotes energy efficiency or renewable energy. Through bottom-up efforts, organisers of EUSEW Energy Days, events and activities connect directly with citizens and energy stakeholders at the local, regional and national levels. It must take place between 18-22 June 2012, when the second international conference, within the framework of the European Sustainable Energy Week will take place in Poltava, Ukraine (weekends before and after are also acceptable).

The aim of the second international conference is to present the new trends of energy saving, information dissemination, exchange of experience, establishing mutually beneficial contacts, the initiation energy and environmental projects, technology transfer and investment in this area.

At the conference leading experts of Ukraine and EU countries, Philippines, South Africa, China and other countries as well as the presentation of modern equipment and services make efficient use of energy resources and environmental protection.
