FCIS is an independent foundation, and an ICN member as well. There will be visits to relevant institutions and companies working on social innovations in Bialystok. Dr. Eliza Szadkowska is the leader of FCIS and board member of the ICN. She invites all ICN members to come to Bialystok and also friends of the network to register and join. At the moment there are about 10 projects which are already in the pipeline for development and implementation, where ICN is playing a role. The institution is located in Trondheim and is providing higher vocational education. A program for studying social entrepreneurship is launched. The training is based on a combination of theory and practice. The KBT are also involved in several international projects and is searching cooperation with the Innovation Circle Network. She started to work as a teacher before she found her professional happiness working in the local government. For almost 20 years she works with subjects as education, youth, culture and sports and takes responsibility for the social sector. Also, creating added value through project work and applying for financial means is part of her job. Besides work, the 43-year-old woman loves an active lifestyle. "I dance, run, dive. I love to read and do crafts. But my priority at this stage of life are my three children and to spend time with them", says Triin Pärna.
